Introduction

The Mental Illness Foundation has a long tradition of benefit events in which participates each year regular attendant but also new participants. It will be a pleasure for us to welcome you to one or several of these events:

The Foundation’s events

Prestige Wine Tasting Event
Since 1996, the Foundation’s Prestige Wine Tasting Event gives to its guests the chance to taste exceptional wines that we can rarely find on the Quebec market. These great vintages, specially selected from the best vineyards of France, Italy and elsewhere always delights the guests.

Golf Tournament
Each year in June, more than 240 golfers gather for a friendly competition while contributing to the cause of mental illness. Since several years, the Tournament is held in one of the oldest clubs in North America, the Elm Ridge Country Club of Île Bizard.

Show by Dr. Lamontagne
It is with great pleasure that the Founding President of the Foundtaion and actual President-General Manager of the Collège des médecins du Québec, Dr. Yves Lamontagne occasionally go on stage to present a show to the Foundation’s benefit.  In 2006, he was announcing that it was is “last, last, last” show, but who knows?

Emotions Ball
The Emotions Ball rallies the business community to the mental illness cause by receiving more than 800 managers. It is one of the means used by the Foundation to raise awareness of mental illness and its consequences in this milieu. The third edition of the Emotions Ball was held on October 4th at the place Bonaventure of Montreal.
