Ambassadors

The Mental Illness Foundation is extremely fortunate to have over a hundred women who have joined together to form the Ambassadors’ Committee as the defenders of its cause. These women are of all ages and come from a wide range of professions, including the business, communications, medical, legal, artistic and cultural fields.

In addition to helping organize the Emotions Ball, these dynamic women, who are sensitive and committed to the mental illness cause, act as true ambassadors by spreading the awareness message and helping to diminish the prejudices toward mental illness, often by putting their professional experience at the service of the Foundation and providing access to their business and contact networks.

Not too long ago, André Corriveau of Hydro-Québec, Wilfrid Hénault and Yvon Lafrenière  and all of the Mental Illness Foundation administrators joined their ranks to form the male counterpart of this committee. Since, other ambassadors are joining them and others will be joining them in the near future.

As ambassadors, these men and women are key levers in furthering the Foundation and its achievements. The Foundation is delighted to have them among its ranks and thanks them for lending their voices and talents to the cause it defends.
